Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation is presently administrating and managing housing programs to benefit the citizens of Perkins, Chase, Hayes, Hitchcock, and Dundy counties in Southwest Nebraska.

Owner-Occupied-Rehabilitation (OOR)--
Low-to-moderate income homeowners are eligible to make their homes more energy efficient and safe through the OOR program. For more information and an application form, click on the links below

Downpayment Assistance with Rehabilitation (DPA)--
Down payment assistance for first time home buyers in the low-to-moderate income range. Qualification includes:

• The projected 12-month household income of the family must not exceed 80 percent of median income (For current income limits please contact SWNCBC.) This information will be third party verified once application has been made.
• First Time Home buyer definition: The person must not have bought a home in the past three years;

Purchase Rehabilitation Resale--
Through this program, SWNCBC purchases a dilapidated home, rehabilitates it and then resells it to an income qualifying family. We have recently been preliminary awarded funding from DED to renew Purchase Rehab Resale. For more information, press on the links below.

Grant Housing #1--
The six affordable housing units managed by SWNCBC in Grant are currently full. However, we encourage those who are interested to apply, with the applications being kept on file when we do get a vacancy. More information can be found in the link below. Please call SWNCBC for an application.
